We have heard from multiple sources that Zillow For Sale By Owner (FSBO) listings are not currently working. Sellers are unable to create new listings and there is no longer phone support to inquire about listing delays. This is likely due to a major change Zillow has made in their listing verification workflow which claims to take up to 72 hours for listings to be reviewed. Several sellers have not been able to publish For Sale By Owner listings for over 4 weeks and there is no longer a dedicated support team to troubleshoot listing delays. If you use Google Voice for your listing phone number, it is possible Zillow’s automated listing verification phone call is getting tripped up by the “Please state your name and Google Voice will try to connect you” prompt.
This mishap coincides with a major listing design change where you now need to toggle to view non agent, For Sale By Owner listings.
